Can’t We All Get Along? Mean Girls, Nice Girls, and Other Stumbling Blocks on the Road to Social Change

Every group knows this familiar pattern: the person who keeps the peace at all costs, the one who won’t soften a hard truth, and the colleague whose presence feels exhausting for reasons no one can quite name.

We often reduce these dynamics to personality—“that’s just how she is.” But more often, people are protecting deeply held beliefs about how the work should be done, and those instincts can pull in opposite directions. In mission-driven spaces, and in a culture that pushes women toward conformity, pleasing, and clique-based belonging, that misreading can come at a real cost.

This workshop helps teams build awareness and shared language for that friction, so it stops being “personal beef” and becomes a path toward deeper solidarity and unity.

Organizational and Community Teams and Leadership

Three-hour virtual session · Up to 20 participants. Larger groups can be customized.

The Privilege Staircase Intensive.

Move past privilege self-awareness into something your team can actually use. Participants map 23 vectors of privilege (race, class, citizenship status, ability, education, gender, sexuality, age, language, neurotype, caregiving status, geographic origin, and more) onto four types of power (Power Over, Power With, Power To, Power Within), work through a live redistribution exercise, and leave with a named action for their team. You’ll trace how privilege converts to position, and how position becomes power that affects others. You’ll receive a Staircase map, a redistribution commitment with a 30-day check-in partner, vocabulary and tools to keep you grounded and connected—without shame or blame.

The 4-Session Intensive Arc.

The full SAIN et SAUF™ curriculum compressed into four paired sessions: Awareness and Emotions (Allyship Continuum, emotional literacy); Power and Inequity (Privilege Staircase, Inequity Ubiquity); Practice (Brave Space norms, microaggression response, live role-play); Action (30-day activation lane plus local civic engagement, from school boards to county election boards). Each participant leaves committed to five weekly practices, including one real conversation at home. Best for: Executive teams, senior leadership cohorts

Four 3-hour sessions over 90 days, plus 30-min check-ins · 10-20 participants.

The 6-Session Balanced Arc.

Storytelling woven into solidarity and impact. Six sessions over six months, each anchored by a group of BIPOC Foremothers whose life models that session’s praxis: foundations, power mapping, Brave Space and Erased Wisdom, real-time repair, Inequity Ubiquity, and a closing commitment ceremony. Participants stay paired in accountability dyads throughout, with reading, journaling, and one observable behavior between sessions. The team leaves with a signed Solidarity Commitment Document. Best for: ERGs, mid-management cohorts, mission-driven nonprofits

Six 2.5-hour sessions over 6 months · 10-25 participants.

The 8-Session Immersive Cohort.

Eight sessions across eight to ten months, the deepest format we offer. Participants work the full curriculum progression in peer coaching pairs, shape an Erased Wisdom research project of their own design, and close by presenting their integration to organizational leadership. An optional ISO 30415-aligned documentation track supports organizations pursuing external standards alignment. Built for change that outlasts the moment. Best for: High-potential leadership cohorts, succession-planning groups, foundation grantee leadership programs

Eight 3-hour sessions over 8–10 months, plus peer coaching dyads · 12-20 participants.

The SAIN et SAUF™ MBA.

Full-day intensive. Your organization may already use MBTI, CliftonStrengths, Enneagram, CQ, Culture Map, or similar frameworks. This intensive doesn’t replace them, it asks what each one sees, where it stops, and whose wisdom it overlooks. A complementary layer that makes the tools you already have more honest. Best for: Organizations already using mainstream frameworks (MBTI, CliftonStrengths, Big Five, Enneagram, CQ, Culture Map, Bennett’s DMIS, McKinsey Centered Leadership, Competing Values) and wanting the complement layer

The Allyship Continuum — the six stages (Unengaged → Ally → Advocate → Co-Conspirator → Friend → Sister) with self-placement and one named next-stage behavior.
Privilege + Position = Power — 23 vectors mapped onto the Four Types of Power, closing with one structural act of redistribution.
Brave Space is More Valuable than Safe Space — a live re-norming session where the team drafts its own Brave Space agreements.
OOPS-OUCH — live role-played practice with the OOPS-OUCH repair protocol, plus the Repair → Accountability → Disseminate sequence.
Erased Wisdom — names the cultural translators, relationship-builders, and bridging contributors whose work doesn’t fit existing performance frameworks, with an immediate recognition exercise.
Whose Stories Matter — examines whose stories are centered in onboarding, all-hands, recognition rituals, and hiring loops, using Tema Okun’s characteristics of monoculture as a diagnostic, and closes with one named characteristic to interrupt and one ritual to redesign.
Power Ladies — a story-rich keynote tracing the Privilege + Position = Power equation through the lives of Black, Brown, Asian, and Indigenous foremothers. Signature keynote.
