What we collect, and when
When you visit the site. Our host and our security tools record standard server information: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This happens automatically and is ordinary for any website.
When you subscribe to a newsletter or download something free. Your email address, and your first name if you give it. Sometimes a note of which form you used, so we know what you asked for.
When you buy something. Your name, email address, billing address, order contents, and order history, plus your shipping address for merch. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We can see that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card, nothing more. If you pay with Amazon Pay or Link, that company handles your payment under its own terms. Your email address and order details are also sent to Kit, our email platform.
When you take a free assessment. Your name, email address, and answers. They are recorded on our site and sent to Kit.
When you take the Team Solidarity and Unity Barometer™. This deserves its own explanation, below.
When you write in My Journal. Your answers to course reflection questions. This also has its own section, below.
When you join our affiliate program. Your name, email address, the payout details you give us, and a record of the sales you refer.
When you book a call. Your name, email address, and whatever you type into the booking form.
When you email us or fill in a contact or partner form. Whatever you write, and your contact details.
Assessment and Barometer responses—please read this part
We run assessments, including the Team Solidarity and Unity Barometer™, in which people answer questions about how their own organization behaves.
What we collect: your name, your email address, the role or seat you hold at your organization, your team code, and your answers to every question. If you save your answers partway through, the partial answers are stored too.
Why this is different from ordinary form data. Your answers describe your experience of your own workplace—how work is distributed, whether people can say difficult things out loud, what happens to people after conflict. That is more sensitive than a mailing list signup, and we treat it that way.
Who sees your individual answers. Rozella Kennedy reviews individual responses, and no one else does. They are not shown to your employer, your manager, or your colleagues. Our website host and maintenance provider have technical access to the database where responses are stored, as they do to the whole site.
What your organization receives. A report built from the combined answers of everyone on your team. It shows scores by pillar, where your team’s responses diverged from one another, and by which seat—senior leadership, manager, staff, operations or finance.
On a small team, a determined reader may be able to work out who said what. We cannot promise otherwise, and you should answer knowing that. We do not identify individuals in the report, but a four-person team broken down by seat is not anonymous, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a protection we cannot deliver.
What we never do. We do not sell assessment responses. We do not use them for advertising. We do not share them with any third party for that third party’s own purposes.
How long we keep them. Individual responses for 12 months after your team’s report is delivered, then deleted. Aggregate, de-identified statistics may be kept longer to improve the instrument—these cannot be traced back to a person.
Your right to withdraw. Email hello@bravesis.com and we will delete your individual responses. If your team’s report has already been produced we cannot un-write it, but we will remove your underlying answers from our records.
My Journal
Some courses ask you to write short reflections. LearnDash, the software that runs our courses, saves each answer in your account, and your Journal History page shows them back to you.
We do not read your journal entries, share them, or use them for anything else. Like everything on the site, they are stored in a database our website host and maintenance provider can technically access. Email hello@bravesis.com and we will delete your entries.
How we use what we collect

- To credit and pay affiliate commissions
- To keep the site working, secure, and reasonably fast
- To meet our tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Who else handles your data
We use other companies to run this business. Each sees only what it needs.
- WP Engine—website hosting; server logs
- FixRunner—website maintenance, support, and daily backups; technical access to the site
- Wordfence—site security; logs visits and login attempts
- Stripe—payment processing; card details go here, never to us. Also Amazon Pay and Link, when you choose one at checkout
- WooCommerce—orders and purchase records, stored on our own site
- Printful—prints and ships merch; receives your name, shipping address, and order
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit)—email list, newsletters, subscriber tags and fields, order details, and free assessment answers
- SMTP2GO—sending transactional email, receipts and notifications
- Formidable Forms, Gravity Forms, and Elementor—assessment and contact form responses, stored on our own site
- LearnDash—course enrollment, progress, and journal entries, stored on our own site
- SliceWP—affiliate program records, stored on our own site
- Calendly—call bookings
- Google Workspace—our business email
- Google Fonts—typefaces; your browser requests them from Google, which sees your IP address
These companies are based mostly in the United States, and we operate from the United States. If you visit or buy from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
Cookies
We use cookies for things that will not work without them—keeping you logged in, remembering your cart, and keeping the site secure. Stripe sets its own cookies at checkout to prevent fraud.
If you arrive through an affiliate’s link, SliceWP sets a cookie that lasts 30 days, so the affiliate is credited if you buy.
Apart from that affiliate cookie, we do not run advertising or marketing trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no ad network tag on this site. We do not run website analytics of any kind. Our host keeps standard server logs, listed above.
You can block cookies in your browser. Parts of the site will stop working if you do.
How long we keep things
- Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires
- Affiliate records: as long as tax and accounting law requires
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterwards
- Barometer responses: 12 months after your report is delivered
- Free assessment answers: until you ask us to delete them
- Journal entries: until you ask us to delete them
- Contact emails: 3 years
- Server logs: short-term, as set by our host
- Site backups: kept by our host and backup tools for a limited time, then replaced
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Send you a copy in a portable format
- Stop sending you marketing email—every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works
If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
To exercise any of this, email hello@bravesis.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand your data to somebody else.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections, a managed host, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes
We will update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top will change with it. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell subscribers directly.
